DAVENPORT | A Davenport man who was the driver during a 2009 crash that killed three people was taken off life support Saturday morning after a Friday car accident left him in very critical condition. He was declared dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said William Garrett Coe, 24, was driving a 1998 Dodge Dakota truck on Old Lake Wilson Road after midnight when he missed a curve and crashed into two road signs and a tree.
Coe was the sole occupant of the truck. ….MORE
