Steven Pancyrz rear-ended Chrysler driven by Kenneth Berg, killing Richard Parker in the process

ROCKFORD – Police charged two men with driving under the influence and other violations related to a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened Monday.
Police were called to the 5600 block of 11th Street at 12:13 a.m. Monday after a 2007 Chrysler 300 and 2002 GMC Envoy crashed into a roadside ditch.
Richard Parker, 35, the rear-seat passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Parker died of blunt trauma to the head, according to the Winnebago County Coroner’s office.
