Kentucky: Deputy rounds up Jeep load of drugs and druggies; three were on pins and needles – Laura Parsley OWI-drugs

Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting:

Jackson arrest pills and drugs Clay County Sheriff.

On February 15, 2019, at approximately 12:30 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston and CSO Wes Brumley arrested Laura Parsley age 42 of Otter Creek Road, Jason Jackson age 36 of Otter Creek Road and Rebecca Hamm age 45 of Bridge Street.

Rebecca Hamm age 45 was charged with drug intoxication Clay County Sheriff Feb. 15, 2019.

The arrest occurred at Alvin’s Gas Station on South Highway 421 when Deputies was dispatched to a complaint of possible drug activity. Upon arrival at the location, Deputies observed a Tan colored Jeep trying to leave the parking lot in a hurry when Deputy Houston pulled in. Upon contact with the driver of the vehicle, Deputy Tommy Houston observed in plain sight needles and prescription medication.

Deputy Tommy Houston conducted a field sobriety test on the driver in which she showed numerous signs of impairment. When contact was made with the passenger, his information was run through Clay County 911 and it was confirmed he had an active warrant for his arrest.

Laura Parsley age 42 was charged with OWI drugs Clay County Sheriff Feb. 15, 2019.

While investigating the complaint of possible drug activity, Deputy Tommy Houston witnessed a female subject inside the store of Alvin’s punching and screaming into the air. When Deputy Houston made contact with the female subject it was determined she was manifestly under the influence and she began screaming and threatening Deputies and individuals inside the store. Jason Jackson age 36 was charged with possesion of legend drug Clay County Sheriff Feb. 15, 2019.

• Illegal Possession of Legend Drug 
• Prescription of Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st Offense

• Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of ALC/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1st Offense 
• Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense
• Illegal Possession of Legend Drug
• Prescription of Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st Offense
Rebecca Hamm age 45 was charged with:
• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Disorderly Conduct- 2nd Degree
• Terroristic Threatening- 3rd Degree

Cliff Brown, 37, was charged with OWI drugs and alcohol Clay County Sheriff Kentucky.

Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard arrested Cliff Brown age 37 of Hooker Road on February 3, 2019, at approximately 8:00 PM. The arrest occurred on Reynolds Road 5 miles West of Manchester when Deputy Gabbard was patrolling the area he initiated a traffic stop on a silver 4-door car for vehicle infractions. Upon contact with the driver, Deputy Gabbard could smell a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the car. In plain sight of the Deputy when he made contact with the driver was two glass pipes that had white residue in one and a green leafy substance inside the other.

Jennifer Hampton, 37, was charged with possession of legend drug Clay County Sheriff Kentucky Feb. 3, 2019.

Police say that Deputy Jeremy Gabbard conducted a field sobriety test on the driver in which he failed. Also, arrested at the scene was the passenger Jennifer Hampton, 37, of Corbin. It was determined she was manifestly under the influence, during the search of the passenger Deputy Gabbard located a plastic baggy that contained 4 white pills. • Possession of Marijuana

• Obstruction vision and/or windshield

• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol)
• Illegal Possession of Legend Drug

Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Ronald Jackson, 49, of Melrose Road on February 1, 2019, at approximately 9:30 PM.

The arrest occurred on South Highway 421 when Deputy Houston made a traffic stop on a brown Ford pickup truck for vehicle infractions. Upon contact with the driver of the vehicle, it was determined that he showed signs of impairment. Deputy Houston conducted a field sobriety test in which the driver failed the test that was given to him.
