Two people are now dead after a wreck last weekend.
Twenty-three year old Emily Landry passed away around one Sunday morning at a Lafayette hospital.
The crash first happened last Saturday on LA 82 South of Abbeville. Troopers say that the driver of the vehicle, 52 year old Gregory Menard attempted to pass several cars in a no passing zone, and collided head on with a car heading northbound.
