LEONARDTOWN, MD – The Maryland State Police report the following arrests of persons who failed to appear in court to face DUI charges: On Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:50pm, TFC G. A. Thompson served a Bench Warrant on Nathan Jered Mowrer, 25, of Abell. The warrant was issued on September 21, 2011 by the District Court of St. Mary’s County with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Mowrer was located at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and served pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
On Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:30pm, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant on Leroy Michael Sandy, 49, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued on September 16, 2011 with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence by the District Court of Charles County. Mr. Sandy was located and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
