Montana: police officer changed plea to guilty of DUI; given six months in jail, suspended, $800 fine

ANACONDA – An Anaconda police officer appeared Monday in justice court and admitted to driving drunk last September.
Tyler Deeks, 27, changed his plea to guilty on one count of DUI per se — first offense — based on an agreement with state prosecutors.
Deeks, a two-year veteran of the local force, also pleaded guilty to hitting an unattended vehicle along Main Street and failing to give notice of the accident by quickest means.
Justice of the Peace Larry Pahut sentenced Deeks to six months and 20 days in jail, with all time suspended, and $800 in total fines…MORE
