MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP (April 20, 2011) — According to Mount Olive Township Police, on April 19th at 3:45 pm, Officer Paul Ottavinia responded to the Shell Gas Station for the report of a disturbance. When he arrived, Officer Ottavinia observed Anthony Sicoli, 37, of Budd’s Lake, N.J. speaking with a station attendant.
Police say that Sicoli stated to Officer Ottavinia that he and Lisa Conigliari, 44, also of Budd Lake, had a problem with the attendant. Ms. Conigliari had driven away, leaving Mr. Sicoli at the Shell prior to police arrival. As he spoke with Mr. Sicoli, Officer Ottavinia detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Officer Ottavinia was able to determine that Mr. Sicoli had been the driver of the vehicle when the vehicle was driven into the Shell Station.
Sicoli was asked to perform field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest, and transported to police headquarters.
Police say that Conigliari was located at the Extended Stay on International Drive South.
Police report that as officers spoke with Ms. Conigliari, they detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage.
Conigliari was asked to perform field sobriety tests. It was found that Sicoli also had an active warrant out of Hightstown, NJ for $1000.00.
Mr. Sicoli was released to a sober driver pending a court hearing.
Hightstown Police also released Mr. Sicoli ROR, with a new court date.
Ms. Conigliari was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and arrest and transported to police headquarters. Mr. Sicoli was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusing to Submit to Breath Testing, and Reckless Driving. It was found that Mr. Sicoli also had an active warrant out of Hightstown, NJ for $1000.00. Mr. Sicoli was released to a sober driver pending a court hearing. Hightstown Police also released Mr. Sicoli ROR, with a new court date. Ms. Conigliari was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving. She was released to a sober driver pending a court hearing.
