SHAWNEE, Okla. —In a 2-1 vote Monday, Lincoln County commissioners reinstated the county’s emergency management director following two months of paid suspension because of a driving under the influence of alcohol charge.
Joey Wakefield, 39, was reinstated, with several restrictions, after commissioners spent more than two hours in executive session.
Commissioners Ricky Taylor and Lee Doolen voted in favor of the motion, while Commissioner Don Sporleder opposed it….MORE
