New Mexico: 2nd State Police officer busted for DWI in 4 days….its a Red Letter Day!

Raton — New Mexico State Police Lieutenant Matthew Vigil was arrested late last night by the Raton Police Department for DWI. Vigil has been employed by the New Mexico State Police for approximately thirteen and a half years.
At the time of arrest, Vigil was driving a personally owned vehicle and was not on duty.
Vigil has been placed on administrative leave until an internal investigation has been completed.
