New York: cops report Kevin M. Green tried to dilute the booze in his blood with dip into pond…with his vehicle

Watertown, N.Y. — 2013-10-01 —Potsdam village police charged Kevin M. Green, 23, of Brighton, Mass., with driving while intoxicated and imprudent speed at 3:26 a.m. Saturday following a property damage accident on Main Street.

Police said Mr. Green’s vehicle crashed through a fence at Collegiate Village on Outer Main Street and went into a pond. Potsdam Fire and Potsdam Rescue also responded to the scene of the accident.

Mr. Green reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent state threshold for a DWI offense.

The following were also charged with DWI and related offenses:

Rebekah L. Higgins, 22, of 24148 Pennock Road, Carthage, was charged by Watertown police with aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:04 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of State Street. Police said she veered off of the road, over a sidewalk and after circling a parking ….MORE
