New York: Oswego County Sheriff reports recent DWI arrests; Joseph J. Donahue leads the list


On 12/22/12 at 9:07 p.m., Joseph J. Donahue, 44, of 83 CR 24, Minetto, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol. The arrest was made after Mr. Donahue drove into a STOP-DWI checkpoint established on SR 481 in the City of Oswego. Mr. Donahue was issued tickets and released to a third party. He is scheduled to answer the charges before Oswego City Court on 1/24/13.



On 12/22/12, Ashley M. Lipitz, 27, of 19 Town Garden Drive, Apt. 5, Liverpool, NY was issued UTT’s charging her with DWI; AUO, 1st degree, a class E felony(suspended on 8/15/12 pending a DWI in T/O Salina); Speed Not Reasonable and Failure to Keep Right stemming from the investigation into a personal injury mva that occurred on 11/11/12 in the Town of Orwell when the 2009 Chevrolet she was reportedly operating failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to drive on the left shoulder of the roadway then when overcorrected, caused her to lose control and exit the southwest side of the roadway and strike a tree then continued down an embankment. Ms. Lipitz was arraigned in the Town of Orwell Court by Hon. Judge Roser and ROR’d with a return to court date of 1/2/13.


On 12/24/12 at 1:02 a.m., Kyle G. Collins, 25, of 130 Sol Davis Road, Williamstown, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Crossed Official/Hazardous Road Markings, after he reportedly drove his vehicle off the roadway on CR 26 in the Town of Parish. Mr. Collins was arraigned before Town of Parish Court and released on his own recognizance. He will return to court at a later date to answer the charges.
