New York: State Police took notice of clown who threw beer can out the window; Mikol Rockwood locked up for felony DWI

Mikol Rockwood, DWI, New York State Police05/20/2014 — New York State Police report the following arrests, starting with this bozo who missed all that nagging about not littering.  First, that on May 17, 2014 Jamestown State Troopers arrested Mikol V. Rockwood, age 24 of Irving, NY for felony DWI after a traffic stop on Wade Hill Rd in the Town of Ellington when Troopers observed a beer can being thrown out of the car.
A strong odor of alcohol  was noticed coming from the vehicle and after field sobriety tests placed Rockwood under arrest for DWI.  Rockwood and a 17 year old passenger were transported to State Police at Jamestown where a BAC of .13 was obtained from Rockwood.
He was charged with felony DWI due to prior conviction, felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st, Unlawful Dealing With a Child -Give/Sell Alcohol to a Person Under 21 and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.  Rockwood was arraigned in the Town of Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail with bail pending the District Attorney’s recommendation.
Zone 2 Troopers working in Erie County made seven DWI arrests over the weekend of May 16th thru May 18th
        On May 17th at about 1:35 AM John J Ricotta, age 55 of Elma was arrested for DWI after his black Jeep was stopped on Transit Rd in the Town of Cheektowaga for no right turn signal and improper right turn. He submitted a voluntary breath sample which showed his Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) to be .09%. Mr. Ricotta was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Cheektowaga court on a later date.
On May 17th at about 2:24 AM Akeeb V. Chokshi age 22 of Buffalo was arrested for DWI after his blue Honda Accord was stopped on Main St in Clarence for traveling at 63 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. He submitted a voluntary breath sample which showed his Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) to be .14%. Mr. Chokshi was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Clarence Court on a later date.
On May 17th at about 3:00 AM John M. Gasner age 41 of Orchard Park was arrested for DWI when the black Hummer II he was operating was observed failing to keep right on Old Transit Rd in the Town of Orchard Park. He submitted a voluntary breath sample which showed his Blood Alcohol Concentration to be .09%. Mr. Gasner was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Orchard Park Court on a later date.
On May 17th at about 9:45 PM Karlee B. Lewis age 30 of Clarence was arrested for DWI after her orange Pontiac Vibe was stopped for having no headlights activated on Sheridan Dr. in the Town of Clarence. She submitted a voluntary breath sample which showed her Blood Alcohol Level (BAC) to be .11%. Ms. Lewis was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Clarence Court on a later date.
On May 18th at about 1:30 AM Diane L. Goodier age 57 of Akron was arrested after the black Toyota Camry which she was operating was stopped for traveling 73 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and failing to keep right on County Rd in the Town of Clarence. She submitted a voluntary breath sample which showed her Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) to be .16%. Ms. Goodier was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Clarence Court on a later date.
On May 18th at about 4:18 AM Satbir S.Wraich age 20 of Depew was arrested for DWI after the black Chevrolet Impala he was operating was stopped for improper left turn on Transit Rd. in the Village of Depew. He submitted a breath sample for testing which showed his Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) to be .16%. Mr. Wraich was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Village of Depew Court on a later date.
On May 18th at about 6:27 AM Jessica L. Obrien age 22 of Rochester was arrested for DWAI after the red Chevrolet Impala she was operating was located on the shoulder of St-33 in the City of Buffalo with left front end damage and a flat tire. Ms. Obrien stated that she had struck the concrete barrier and had called for a tow but that it would be several hours. Ms. Obrien showed signs of intoxication and failed roadside sobriety tests. She was placed under arrest for DWI and submitted a breath sample for testing which revealed her Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) to be .07%. She was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI). Ms Obrien was also found to be in possession of several marihuana smoking devices which contained marihuana residue and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana a violation. She was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Buffalo Court on later date.
On May 10, 2014 State Police in Ogdensburg arrested 26-year-old Ryan M. Finley, of Ogdensburg for Driving While Intoxicated, following a traffic stop on Greene Street.
Finley was found to have a blood alcohol content of .09%.  He was also ticketed for failure to keep right, and speed in zone.  Finley is to appear in Ogdensburg City Court on May 15, 2014 at 8:30am.

Joseph R. McMahon DWI again, prior time he lost his license. SLAMMER TIME!

On May 7, 2014 at approximately 9:10 p.m. State Police conducted a traffic stop on a
1998 Audi A4 on State Route 122 in the town of Constable.
The operator, 22-year-old Joseph R. McMahon of Massena, was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .11%. He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, an E felony,  due to a revocation of his license for a prior DWAI conviction. He was further ticketed for inadequate exhaust and uninspected motor vehicle.
McMahon was arraigned at the Town of Burke Court and released under the supervision of probation.  He is to appear in the Town of Constable Court on May 21, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
On May 10, 2014 New York State Police in Ogdensburg report that they arrested 26-year-old Ryan M. Finley, of Ogdensburg for Driving While Intoxicated, following a traffic stop on Greene Street.
Finley was found to have a blood alcohol content of .09%.  He was also ticketed for failure to keep right, and speed in zone.  Finley is to appear in Ogdensburg City Court on May 15, 2014 at 8:30am.
On May 7, 2014 at approximately 9:10 p.m. State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Suzuki on State Route 9 in the town of Schroon.
The operator, 38-year-old Sherry M. Woods of Schroon Lake, was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be .18%. She was charged with Aggravated DWI. Woods was also ticketed for inadequate headlights.
She is scheduled to appear at the Schroon Lake Town Court on May, 21 2014 at 2 p.m.
On May 3, 2014 at approximately 8 p.m., State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Cadillac CTS operated by 44-year-old Charles E. St. John Jr. of Bondsville, Massachusetts on State Route 374 in the town of Plattsburgh.  St. John was arrested for driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .08%. He was also ticketed for speeding. St. John is to appear at the Town of Plattsburgh Court on May 6, 2014 at 4 p.m.

On May 3, 2014 at approximately 1 a.m. State Police conducted a traffic stop on a a 1998 Toyota Corolla operated by 50-year-old James A. Mattox of Plattsburgh, on Rugar Street in the town of Plattsburgh.
Mattox was arrested for driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .08%. Mattox was also found in possession of a small quantity of marihuana. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession Marihuana.  Mattox is to appear at the Town of Plattsburgh Court on May 13, 2014 at 4 p.m.

On May 3, 2014 at approximately 2:41 a.m., State Police conducted a traffic stop on a a 2002 Jeep Cherokee operated by 22-year-old Meghan M. O’Connor of Rochester, on State Route 3 in the town of Plattsburgh.
O’Connor was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be .08%. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and ticketed for inadequate taillights. She is to appear at the Town of Plattsburgh Court on May 6, 2014 at 4 p.m.

On May 4, 2014 at approximately 12:47 a.m. State Police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Civic operated by 22-year-old John P. Dematties of Poultney, Vermont, on Keese Mills Road in Paul Smiths.  Dematties was arrested for driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .14%.  Dematties is to appear at the Town of Brighton Court on May 7, 2014 at 7 p.m.

On May 4, 2014, at approximately 1:30 a.m., State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Plymouth Breeze operated by 23-year-old Charles W. Berg of Plattsburgh, on State Route 3, in the city of Plattsburgh.  Berg was arrested for driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .08%. He was also ticketed for unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, inadequate headlights, and inadequate exhaust. He is to appear at the City of Plattsburgh Court on May 14, 2014 at 8:30 a.m.

On May 4, 2014 at approximately 2:14 a.m., State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, operated 22-year-old Tyler J. Armstrong of Gouverneur, on West Main Street in the village of Gouverneur.  Armstrong was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was also ticketed for driving to the left of pavement markings. He is to appear at the Town of Gouverneur Court on May 15, 2014 at 9 a.m.  Further charges pending the results of a blood test.

On May 2, 2104 at 11:22 p.m., State Police in Lewis arrested 38-year-old Christopher J. Johnson III  of Crown Point for driving while intoxicated subsequent to a traffic stop for failure to keep right on State Route 9N in Westport. Johnson’s blood alcohol content was determined to be .10%.  Johnson is to appear in the Town of Westport Court on June 2, 2014.

On May 3, 2014 at approximately 1 a.m., State Police in Tupper Lake arrested 31-year-old Jesse J. Pickering of Tupper Lake for felony driving while intoxicated subsequent to a traffic stop on Demars Boulevard in the village of Tupper Lake for a loud exhaust. Pickering’s blood alcohol content was determined to be .17%.  Pickering was arraigned in the Village of Tupper Lake Court and released on his own recognizance. He is to reappear on June 10, 2014 at 6 p.m.

On May 4, 2014 at 1:44 a.m., State Police in Tupper Lake arrested 31-year-old Joshua S. Jones of Tupper Lake subsequent to a traffic stop on Dugal Road in the town of Tupper Lake for failing to signal a turn. Jones was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after his blood alcohol content was determined to be .21%. Jones is to appear at the Town of Tupper Lake Court on May 14, 2014 at 5 p.m.

On May 4, 2:09 a.m. Massena-based State Police arrested 54-year-old Kevin A. Hafter of North Lawrence for driving while intoxicated subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop for failing to keep right.  Hafter’s blood alcohol content was determined to be .09%.  Hafter is to appear at the Town of Lawrence Court on May 20, 2014 at 7 p.m.

Hit and Run Fun for Nicole
On May 3, 2014 at approximately 5 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a property damage auto accident at the intersection of Miner Farm Road and Lake Shore Road in the town of Chazy.   The operator, 58-year-old Nicole St. Louis of Quebec was driving a 2010 Volkswagen sedan eastbound on Miner Farm Road, when she drove off the shoulder of the road and her car got stuck in a ditch on Lake Shore Road.
Troopers on scene also determined that St. Louis was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Plaza Boulevard in the town of Plattsburgh, just prior to crashing on Lake Shore Road.  St. Louis had driven up onto a curb on Plaza Boulevard and struck a light pole. She then left the scene.
St. Louis was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be .10%.  St. Louis was also ticketed for leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident, moving from lane unsafely, failure to stop at stop sign, improper left turn, and failure to keep right.
She was arraigned in the Town of Chazy Court and released after posting $2,000 cash bail.
