EDGELEY, N.D. – A Minot man was arrested on suspicion drunken driving after a Wednesday night crash near here that killed his passenger.
Jason Michael Tolbert, 38, of Minot, rear-ended a semi pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with heavy equipment on Highway 281 4 miles south of Edgeley at about 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, North Dakota Highway Patrol Sgt. Adam Dvorak said in a news release.
Both Tolbert and passenger Joel Kennard Little, 34, also of Minot, were injured in the crash.
Little was hospitalized in Oakes, Jamestown and then Sanford Medical Center in Fargo before he died Thursday, Dvorak said.
