El Paso, TX – Special Traffic Investigators responded to assist Pebble Hills Patrol on a three vehicle crash that has seriously injured a female.

The crash occurred on Loop 375 North in the right emergency lane just north of Vista Del Sol on June 2, 2014 at around 2:23a.m.

Investigators have learned that a 1992 Ford F150 had sustained a flat tire and the driver, a 36 year old Male, pulled the vehicle to the right side emergency lane where he and his female passenger exited the vehicle. The driver summoned assistance and a 30 year old male arrived in a 2003 Nissan Maxima moments later.

While the three individuals were outside of their vehicles changing the tire a 2008 Ford F250 veered into the emergency lane and struck all three victims as well as the Maxima and the F150. All three individuals were transported to area hospitals. The two males are reported to be in stable condition however, the female victim sustained life threatening injuries and was reported to be in critical condition.

The driver of the F250, a 41 year old man, was treated for non life threatening injuries and is currently in police custody awaiting charges to be filed. Investigators believe alcohol, on behalf of the driver of the F250, is a factor in this crash. This case remains an open investigation and no other information is available at this time.
