SAN ANTONIO — Officer Stephanie Brown’s gun, belt and badge were surrendered to her family: reminders of a young officer’s life cut short.“It’s just kind of hard. She’s my only daughter. It’s difficult,” said Stanley Brown, her father and also an 11-year veteran on the force.
 The badge quickly made it from his hands into the hands of his daughter’s one-year old girl, who will never really know her mother.
