Christopher Alan Morrow, high school principal at Texas Leadership Charter Academy was arrested on charges of resisting arrest search or transport, fleeing police officer and driving while intoxicated Saturday.
According to jail records, Morrow, 44, was released on a $2,000 bond Sunday afternoon and is scheduled for a court appearance at 6 p.m.
Public records show Morrow pleaded guilty to a 2013 DWI charge, a class B misdemeanor, in Victoria, Texas. At the time Morrow was employed as principal at Gonzales High School in Gonzales, Texas.
A story published Feb. 8, 2013, by The Gonzales Inquirer, showed Morrow was placed on administrative leave following his arrest and later resigned.
Morrow has 20 years of experience as an educator — seven as a teacher and coach and 13 years in campus administration, according to his biography page on the TLCA website. MORE

VICTORIA — The principal of Gonzales High School faces a charge of driving while intoxicated following an accident Friday night.
Christopher Morrow, 39, was charged after a two-vehicle crash on Main Street at Mockingbird Lane, said Sgt. Lee Lemmons, of the Victoria Police Department.
GISD superintendent Dr. Kim Strozier said Wednesday that district employment policy prohibits her from commenting on Morrow’s situation and future with the school district. A Gonzales ISD Board of Trustees meeting is tentatively set Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Morrow was offered an opportunity to comment on the case but did not respond by press time Wednesday.
He was hired by GISD at the June 11, 2012, Board of Trustees meeting after serving as principal at Friona High School from 2008-2012.
