California: Reyes Barajas charged with killing Ann Marie Miller and boy while driving drunk

A Redwood City man has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after two people were killed in a crash west of the Yolo County community of Rumsey on Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reyes Barajas, 46, was driving on State Route 16 east of County Road 40 about 4:45 p.m. Monday when his pickup went off the roadway, traveled down a steep embankment and hit a tree.
The passenger in the front seat, a 39-year-old woman from Redwood City, and a 14-year-old boy in the back seat, were pronounced dead at the scene
Robert LaBrash, Yolo County chief deputy coroner, identified the woman as Ann Marie Miller. He said the cause of death was a neck fracture. LaBrash said Miller was wearing a seat belt.
The boy’s name has not been released pending positive identification by family. LaBrash said the youth died of a blunt-force chest injury. It is not known whether the boy was wearing a seat belt.
