According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Dept. Sgt. David Wright, on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 8:32 AM, officers responded to a traffic collision on Highway 111 and Indian Wells Lane in the city of Indian Wells.

Officers arrived within minutes and learned that a black 2010 Lexus RX350 was traveling westbound on Highway 111 when it collided with a white GMC Yukon.  No one was injured in the collision.

The driver of the Lexus, Susan Lynn May, age 65 of Indian Wells, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Indian Wells Police Department encourages all drivers not to drink and drive.
