WILMINGTON — A Chelsea resident is being charged with drunken driving following a two-part, multi-car crash on Interstate-93 North about a mile south of Dascomb Road last night.
According to State Police, at about 8:45 p.m troopers responded to a crash that involved six vehicles with one person trapped in one of the cars.
While police and rescue crews were at that scene tending to the injured and attempting to extricate the trapped victim, at about 9:30 p.m. a Dodge Caravan driven by Cisar Bargas-Lopez, 24, of Chelsea, slammed into a Tewksbury ambulance parked in the breakdown lane, police said. ….MORE
