Shawn Kemp sent to slammer on cocaine dealing and DUI charges

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY — The Burlington Township Police report that Shawn Kemp, 25, of Burlington, N. J., was arrested on May 23, 2015 at 12:45 am by Patrolman Jones after he was stopped on Rt. 130 for driving without headlights.

The officer soon realized that Kemp was DUI and placed him under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed 20 bags of crack cocaine, some pot and extra baggies which are used for portioning out drugs to eager customers.

Police report that Kemp was taken to the Burlington County Jail and held on a bail of $26,000 on charges of possession of paraphernalia, possession of pot, distribution of crack cocaine, refusing to provide breath tests, reckless driving, driving without headlights and DUI.
