OZONE PARK A New York Police Department officer was arrested within the confines of the 106th Precinct Tuesday, police said.
According to police, 38-year-old off-duty NYPD officer Chandrekha Meenawatti was arrested around 3 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. According to the New York Post, Chandrekha fled the scene after hitting several parked cars in the early morning hours. ….MORE
