State and local police charged 13 motorists with drunken driving after recent traffic stops and investigations in Westchester and Putnam counties.
Manuel H. Guambana, 32, of Rye Brook was in an accident about 1:45 p.m. Monday on Interstate 287 in Harrison, state police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felonies.
Farley S. Sampaio, 23, of Danbury, Conn., was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated about 1:05 a.m. Monday on Route 22 in Southeast, state police said.
