COLCHESTER, Vt. — 04/21/2014- A Colchester police officer charged with drunk driving has been disciplined by the town, but the details are not being released.
Jeremy Wyskiel, 36, was charged with DUI last month after police say he drove home from a bar in Colchester with a blood alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit.
Friday, Colchester Police Chief Jennifer Morrison issued a statement saying Wyskiel was found in violation of department rules and received what she called “a substantial discipline package.”
Wyskiel is currently on sick leave and Morrison says it’s not known when he will return to work.
