Virginia: Caleb Evans pleads guilty to roasting two in fiery crash while he was driving drunk

Anne Brown isn’t holding onto anger against the man convicted of causing the wreck that killed two of her grandchildren 14 months ago.
Brown, the grandmother of Lynchburg siblings Tara and Tearle Davis, said Thursday she felt sorry for Caleb Evans, who pleaded guilty this week to two counts of aggravated involuntary manslaughter in the July 3, 2011 wreck in Prince Edward County.
Brown drove to Farmville Wednesday for the hearing, and watched Evans answer “guilty” when asked his pleas to the charges.

“I was satisfied that he was found guilty,” she said, adding she plans to attend the sentencing hearing on Nov. 13.
