WASHINGTON: State Patrol reports ALEXANDER WILLIAM PUGA DELAROSA in slammer on DUI charges; his victims in hospital

Washington State Patrol reports at 2:22 am on Oct. 6, 2019, that a 2006 Lexus operated by ALEXANDER WILLIAM PUGA DELAROSA, 21, of Aberdeen, Washington, was southbound on Deschutes parkway at Lakeridge at a high rate of speed when the Lexus crossed the center line and struck a tree on the northbound side of the road.

The Lexus then struck a Chevrolet G20 van parked legally on the right shoulder of northbound Deschutes Parkway at Lakeridge.

Police say the Lexus then came to rest partially blocking the northbound lane of Deschutes Parkway.

The Chevy van then came to rest blocking both lanes of Deschutes parkway.

Laura D. Hicks, 42, of Aberdeen, was the driver of the black 1994 Chevrolet G20 van and was treated for injuries by medics and taken to St. Peters Hospital.  Kaleb R. Bell, 22, of Aberdeen, Washington, who was a passenger in the Lexus was also taken to St. Peters.

Charges of DUI and vehicular assault have been placed against ALEXANDER WILLIAM PUGA DELAROSA, who is incarcerated in the Thurston County Jail.
