CALIFORNIA: Patricia Mora slammed into the rear of another vehicle, charged by Coachella deputies with DUI

On August 11, 2019, at 12:37 a.m., Coachella Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report a vehicle collision in the area of Avenue 52 and Grapefruit Boulevard in the city of Coachella. It was determined Patricia Mora, 23, of La Quinta, was traveling northbound on Grapefruit Boulevard when she collided with a vehicle traveling northbound in front of her vehicle. None of the vehicles’ occupants were injured. Mora was arrested and booked at Indio Jail after receiving precautionary medical treatment. Mora was booked for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages all drivers not to drink and drive. To report drunk drivers, please call 911. MEET MR. #187

HE IS #187 – Jose-Matus-age-26-of-Coachella-Calif.-on-Aug.-6-2019-according-to-Sgt.-Joe-Ruiz-charged-with-DUI-crash-after-fleeing-Riverside-Sheriff

According to Riverside Sheriff on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at 11:07 A.M., Deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to Fred Waring Drive and Town Center Way reference a suspect with a felony warrant.  Deputies located the suspect’s vehicle, a grey Toyota Versa driving erratically.  Deputies attempted to stop the suspect, Jose Matus, age 26 of Coachella, and he failed to yield.   Based on the suspect’s driving actions and the arrest warrant a vehicle pursuit was initiated.

Matus collided into an occupied vehicle near Hwy 74 and Shadow Mountain Drive causing minor damage to both vehicles.  Matus fled from the collision and continued to evade deputies.  The pursuit terminated in the driveway of a residence on Kavanaugh Court.

Jose Matus was arrested for a no bail felony arrest warrant, felony evading, DUI, and Hit and Run collision.  No one was injured during the incident.

Jose Matus was medically cleared and booked into the county jail for the above charges.
