Task Force Nabs Winston Lloyd Jenkins Jr.

Niagara County Sheriff James R. Voutour and City of North Tonawanda Police Chief Roger Zgolak announce the arrest of 42-year-old Winston Lloyd Jenkins Jr. of the City of Lockport, NY.

Police say Jenkins traveled from the City of Lockport to the City of North Tonawanda and sold crack cocaine to an agent of the Niagara County Drug Task Force.

Police say that Jenkins was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, also a class B felony. Each felony charge can be punishable up to 25 years in prison.

The Niagara County Drug Task Force will continue intensive investigations in the City of North Tonawanda for drug activity.

In 2018, there were 82 reported overdoses in the city and 7 of those overdoses were fatal. Jenkins was taken before North Tonawanda City Court Judge Shawn P. Nickerson for arraignment. Judge Nickerson released Jenkins without any bail, on his own recognizance.
