Colorado: Michael Hudspeth charged with DUI and assault on Colorado Springs Police Officer

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.  Colorado Springs Police report that at 2:47 am on October 17, 2015, Sand Creek Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Academy Blvd. to investigate a traffic accident. Officers located a male party that had left the scene of the accident.

The driver was identified as a Michael Hudspeth, 27 years old. Mr. Hudspeth was detained for a driving under the influence evaluation.
A DUI Officer responded to evaluate Hudspeth. Upon the arrival of the DUI officer Hudspeth was unresponsive in the back of a police cruiser. Medical responded and attempted to wake Hudspeth.
Hudspeth came to abruptly and began swinging his arms out of the cruiser and struck one of the officers in the face with his fist. Hudspeth was removed from the cruiser and continued fighting with officers.
Hudspeth was placed in custody and transported to hospital for a medical clearance and then to CJC. Mr. Hudspeth was charged with Second Degree Assault on a Peace Officer, Obstructing a Peace Officer, Driving under the influence of alcohol and Careless driving.

Britany McClung got drunk and created a new drive-in window  for First Bank

Colorado Springs Police reported that at 2:08 am police were notified of a traffic accident where a vehicle had collided into the First Bank building at Pikes Peak Av./ N. Cascade Av.
Upon arrival officers found an unconscious female in the backseat of the vehicle and the Britany McClung standing outside the vehicle. The passenger was transported to a local hospital where it was determined she suffered potentially life threatening injures. The driver was determined to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was subsequently arrested.
