Minnesota: When a cop is arrested for DWI, a good cop is doing his or her job….it’s time for this trooper to look for different work…NO EXCUSES!

SHOREWOOD, Minn. — A Minnesota state trooper was charged with two counts of DWI after being pulled over and arrested late Saturday night in Shorewood.
According to the South Lake Minnetonka police, 30-year-old Brian Bammert was pulled over on Highway 7 near Eureka Road around 11:30 p.m. Upon further investigation, officers say he was found to be impaired and was arrested.
SLMPD monitored information through dispatch of a hit and run property damage accident that had occurred in St. Bonifacius.
After being pulled over, Bammert exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication and had admitted to drinking. There was also damage to the vehicle he was driving.
