SHELBY (July 7, 2011) —A 25-year-old Shelby man was sentenced Tuesday to at least 40 years in prison in connection with a March 2008 hit-and-run DWI case that left two people dead.
Lucas Rash was sentenced after a jury deliberated less than 45 minutes and found him guilty on two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of felony death by vehicle. He also was convicted on several additional charges. ….MORE
