A Maryland man began Labor Day in the York County Prison after fighting with police. It began at around 10:45 Sunday night at the Hodle Tavern, in the 100 block of North Front Street in New Freedom Borough. Southern Regional Police Officers arrived on the scene to break up a melee outside the bar. As one of the parties attempted to leave, he backed into a parked police car.
