SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 3/23/17 at approximately 0006 hours, Vermont State Police Trooper Stacia Geno stopped Heidi Hough on Route 12 in Hartland for a stop sign violation. Further investigation revealed that Hough was under the influence of intoxicants. She was subsequently arrested, processed at Windsor Police Department, and released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on 04/11/17 to answer to the charge of DUI Refusal.
St. Johnsbury Barracks/ DUI #1
INCIDENT LOCATION: Interstate 93 North MM 3.3
VIOLATION: DUI
Vermont State Police report that on the morning of March 19, 2017, Vermont state police were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on interstate 93 north Mile Marker 3.3 in Waterford, Vermont. The operator of the vehicle was identified as John Champagne, 38, of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Police say that a subsequent investigation revealed that Champagne was under the influence of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. Champagne agreed to offer a sample of his breath and blew a .177 roadside. Champagne was taken into custody by Trooper David Hastings and processed for DUI. Â Champagne was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia Criminal Court on 4/10/2017 to answer to the charge of DUI.
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On March 20th 2017, at approximately 1430 hours, Troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Benmont Ave in the Town of Bennington. A 2016 Toyota Corolla was stopped for a minor motor vehicle violation. The operator who was identified as Craig Gamari, 58, of Pownal VT showed signs of drug impairment during the stop. He was screened roadside and transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for further processing. Gamari was cited for DUI-drug and released. He is scheduled to appear in Bennington County Criminal Court on May 8th, 2017 at 08:15 am
