Virginia: boozy-woozy former prosecutor wrecked her Porche causing chain-reaction crash; her DUI trial postponed

The DWI case against a former Spotsylvania County prosecutor — who reportedly slammed her Porsche SUV into another car, causing a three-vehicle crash in December — was continued to March in Spotsylvania County General District Court on Monday.
The postponement will allow more time for the court to appoint a special prosecutor to take over this case.
Amy Marie Harper was charged with driving while intoxicated, following too closely and refusing to take a blood or breath test after her involvement in this wreck that occurred in Spotsylvania County on Dec. 23.
Harper, 38, of Fredericksburg was southbound in a 2006 Porsche SUV on Salem Church Road (Route 639) near the intersection of Ross Drive around 10:55 p.m. when she reportedly rear-ended a 2006 Dodge Stratus, which forced the Stratus to hit the back of a 2004 Toyota Corolla, according to the Virginia State Police. ….MORE
