DURHAM – A nationally recognized teacher from Barrington Middle School was charged with drunken driving Friday evening after police say he struck another car on Main Street downtown and then drove home without stopping. Christopher Morrill, 50, of 23 Gonet Drive in Newmarket, is a member of the Governor’s Council on Physical Activity and Health and the council’s website says the National Association for Sport and Physical Education named Morrill middle school teacher of the year in 2000.
