Vermont: State Police report DUI arrests for Jan. 12, 2015

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

Vermont State Police located William Rose of Sharon inside his vehicle at a residence in Sharon while assisting another Windsor County Law Enforcement Agency. A BOL had been issued for Rose’s truck after it had been reported to have gone off the road.

While speaking with Rose Troopers noted signs of possible intoxication. Rose provided a preliminary breath sample which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .183%.

Rose was arrested without incident and transported to the Royalton State Police Barracks where he was later released on a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court; Criminal Division to answer to the charge of DUI#2.

Allan Bruce DUI Vermont State Police 011115SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 01/11/2015 at approximately 1604 hours, State Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed south on the Quechee Road in the Town of Hartland. Troopers initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle, a silver Chevrolet HHR, near Webster Road. Investigation revealed that the operator, Allan Bruce, was under the influence of alcohol and consuming alcohol while driving. Bruce was subsequently arrested, transported to Hartford Police Department for processing, and later released on a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division to answer to the charge of DUI – Refusal.
