TEMPERANCEVILLE, Va. — 2014-04-08- One man dies of his injuries, after a two-vehicle collision in Temperanceville.
Police say the accident occurred Saturday at 7:46 P-M on Route 695 west of Route 701. 46-year-old Ronnie Washington was said to be traveling eastbound on Route 695 when he lost control of his 1999 Ford Mustang.  He then traveled into the westbound lanes, striking the vehicle of 40-year-old Melissa Johnson.
Johnson was transported to Shore Memorial with non-life threatening injuries. Her passenger, 81-year-old Lenwood Bowen, was transported to PRMC due to prior medical conditions. On Sunday, Bowen died from the injuries sustained in the accident.
Washington was transported for non life threatening injuries and was later charged with driving under the influence. ….MORE
